Terms & Conditions

LAW OFFICE OF JUAN ANTONIO LOZADA, PLLC.

APPOINTMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
By scheduling an appointment with THE LAW OFFICE OF JUAN ANTONIO LOZADA, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Appointment Cancellation and Rescheduling

Appointments cannot be canceled; they can only be rescheduled. The appointment fee is non-refundable. A refund will only be issued if we cannot schedule the appointment. To request a reschedule, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. If you do not do so, or do not show up at the scheduled time, the appointment will be considered confirmed and will not be rescheduled.

2. Documentation and Payment to Schedule the Appointment

For your appointment to be effectively scheduled, it is essential to meet two requirements:

  • Make payment through our Zelle.
  • Submit the relevant documentation related to your case in advance.

Without these two steps, your appointment will not be scheduled.

3. Flexible Scheduling

All appointments are scheduled in Florida time (EST). Availability depends on the attorneys’ schedules. We require a willingness to accommodate our available times.

4. Meeting Platform

Appointments will be conducted via Microsoft Teams. Please ensure that you have the platform installed and working properly before the appointment. If this is not the case, we reserve the right to cancel the appointment.

5. Internet Connection

A stable, high-quality internet connection is essential to ensure effective communication. We recommend connecting from a reliable location and avoiding noisy or interrupted environments.

6. Recommended Device

It is preferable to connect from a computer. During the appointment, it may be necessary to review documents in real time.

7. Appointment Environment

Please ensure you are in a private, comfortable, and distraction-free location during the appointment. This is essential to ensure confidentiality when discussing legal matters. Avoid connecting from a vehicle; do so only if there is no other alternative and the vehicle is parked.

8. Appointment Preparation

All documentation related to your case must be submitted prior to the appointment. This will allow us to prepare adequately and make the most of our time together. The attorney will ask questions and may request immediate access to your documents. Have all information ready and accessible for live response.

9. Appointment Routine
The attorney will control the interview. Some questions may seem similar to those a USCIS officer or prosecutor would ask; this is part of the preparation from the first appointment. It is common for attorneys to ask verification questions at the beginning. Answer them clearly and precisely, limiting yourself to what is asked.

Our Mission
That you leave this appointment with clear and useful tools that strengthen your preparation and support your immigration case.

We are honored that you place your trust in JAL LAW.

Important Note
If you do not comply with any of these terms, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment. In that case, you must schedule a new one and make a new payment.
