Juan is an U.S.-trained attorney with nearly two decades of experience in litigation, corporate law, and business immigration. His practice focuses on helping entrepreneurs—particularly from Europe and Latin America—expand their businesses into the U.S. market. He has extensive experience with Asylum cases, removal defense, EB1, EB2 NIW, E-2, L, TN, and O-1 visa applications, and have successfully litigated in federal, state, and administrative courts across five countries and three continents.

Juan previously served as a Senior Manager for Regional Compliance at one of the world’s largest money transfer companies and am a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). His background in national security law and regulatory compliance complements my private practice, enabling me to advise clients operating in complex, cross-border environments.

In addition to his legal work, he is the co-founder of a legal tech company developing AI-powered tools for law firms, aimed at improving efficiency and expanding access to justice. Passionate about innovation, systems thinking, and building technologies that empower professionals and clients alike.

Juan holds multiple advanced degrees, including a J.D., three LL.Ms in International Law and Human Rights from the University of Texas at Austin, University of Houston and American University, an M.A. in International Relations from Saint Mary’s University, and a B.A. in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. Juan has completed executive programs at Wharton, Stanford, and Florida State University, and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. I will also attend WHU’s Advanced Management program (Sep 2025), a graduate program at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics (Nov 2025), and hope to pursue a DBA in Management and Technology at EADA or Universidad Pontificia Comillas in 2026.

Fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese, Juan brings a multicultural, multilingual approach to leadership, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. His mission is to build legal and digital systems that restore dignity and create opportunity.

Adam Jonasz is an immigration attorney with over 20 years of experience representing clients in removal proceedings, asylum applications, appeals, and immigration court litigation. He is currently a senior attorney at The Law Offices of Juan Lozada Immigration Law, where he advises clients on complex immigration cases, including humanitarian visas, adjustment of status, and naturalization. He has worked with government agencies such as ICE and EOIR, providing legal analysis and strategic support in immigration proceedings.

Prior to his career in immigration law, he served as an officer in the U.S. Army in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG) and the Infantry, participating in security operations at Guantanamo Bay and peacekeeping missions in Kosovo. He was also an investigator for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, where he led child abuse investigations. His commitment to justice has led him to perform pro bono work representing immigrants and to collaborate in community-based legal assistance and human rights programs. He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1997 and holds a Master’s degree in Security Management from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Queens College, CUNY.

Danielle Suggs is a licensed attorney with experience in civil litigation and immigration. She currently works as an associate at The Law Office of Juan Antonio Lozada, PLLC, where she drafts legal documents, attends immigration court hearings, and participates in training to expand her immigration law practice. Previously, she worked as a paralegal at Clarke, Phifer, Vaughn, Brenner & McNeill, PLLC, focusing on estate planning, and as an administrative assistant at Nast Law Firm, PLLC, where she managed communications with government agencies in immigration cases.

Danielle has extensive client service experience, gained during her college years, and skills in legal research, document drafting, and organizational systems management. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and has lived in several countries, including Peru and Bolivia, which provides her with a multicultural perspective in her legal practice.

She graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and earned her J.D. at Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Washington, D.C., having passed the Uniform Bar Examination (UBE) with honors. She also interned at the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru, where she worked on document translation and administrative systems reorganization.

Carlos A. Calderón is a Major in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAGC), with a distinguished career in military, international, and administrative law. He currently serves as Senior General Counsel and Commanding Judge Advocate at Camp Darby Military Community, Italy, where he provides legal services to military units, retirees, and local governments. His experience includes advising on international law, foreign criminal jurisdiction, administrative law, and ethics.

Throughout his career, he has held various positions, including Chief of the Administrative Law Division at Army Southern Europe Task Force Africa, and General Counsel at U.S. Southern Command, where he collaborated with partner nations in Latin America on rule of law, human rights, and transitional justice programs. He has also worked as a legal liaison at the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia, and as a law instructor at the Command & General Staff College in Kansas. Carlos has represented the Army in matters of military justice and operational law, and has led security cooperation programs in Latin America and the Caribbean. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from UCLA, a J.D. from Texas A&M School of Law, an LL.M. in Military Law from The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School, and a Master of Military Arts and Sciences from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.

He is a member of the Arkansas Bar and several federal courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States. He is fluent in Spanish and English, and has advanced proficiency in Italian and Portuguese. He also holds a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance valid until 2026.
